We have just enough empty bottles returned from promos or our generous customers to fill a batch of seven bottles. We think the bottle is to good to waste so we are sterlising and reusing - they still look like new thanks to the kiln fired labels. And the great news is that we can lower the price accordingly - please note doesn't come with presentation box - will be shipped lovingly packed in wood wool.
Macedonian Juniper, Villa Franca Lemon Peel, Lime Peel, Nutmeg, Red Pepper, Green Pepper, Almonds, Cinnamon Sticks, Cardamom, Poppy Seeds, Liquorice, Coriander, Angelica.
Final distillation was 30th March 2021 and being bottled 30th May 2021, will continue to develop flavour in the bottle for the next 3-6 months (even after you open it).
This batch has been distilled four times and went through 20 vapour infusion extraction cycles to extract the flavour from the botanicals. We also used Antipodes Water for the extraction to make it that tiny bit smoother.
As usual the pure gin was also diluted with Carbon Neutral Antipodes Water to achieve 46% ABV.
BTW there's about 3 kilograms of Gladfield Barley and 1,000 hours of sunshine required to fill each Grain to Glass Gin Bottle.
Pair with Fever Tree Tonic Naturally Light for a refreshing low calorie drink. Or you can enjoy with a few lumps of ice.
This is our version of a classic London Dry Gin, the citrus has been dialed back to let the Juniper have a strong base.
The botanicals literally dance on your tongue and have an incredibly long finish. We think the flavour is so good this recipe will be our standard for when we make London Dry again in future batches.
