Gold Medal for Saint George in San Francisco!

This is our most personal Gin ever, we created this Gin in loving memory of our Greyhound George who died after a very brave battle with bone cancer. He was the bestest, bravest, most loyal and loving boy. That's also George etch printed into the bottle.

We entered this Gin in the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (the largest and most influential in the World) because we wanted to make sure any Gin with George's name on it would be amongst the best. And it is - winning Gold at the first attempt. The only New Zealand entered Gin to win Gold this year.

We will donate $35 of the $139 purchase price to animal charities - the first to benefit will be Paws Restart who rehome abandoned dogs (we also volunteer for them).

Botanical Notes

Our friends keep asking us how I came up with an ingredient such as white lotus. I wanted to create a new gin, that would honour my best friend, so I was giving this a lot of thought. At the time we were watching the tv series “White Lotus” and when I googled it for some reason, the Buddhist meaning came up with new beginnings, resurrections, Buddha’s heart, beauty, grace, purity.

An idea was born. Saint George. Who taught me what unconditional love is. Always in our hearts.
