Description

This is a single botanical gin or if you prefer, it’s a vodka that has been distilled with Juniper.

Either way you can sip it straight and delight in the memories it evokes of early childhood running through a pine forest, except this time you have a drink in your hand.

Production is the same as making a gin, we extracted the flavour from the junipers via the liquid infusion process and then distilled with the vodka in a fourth distillation.

The taste really does invoke pine trees and is very smooth – you can feel the Juniper oil coat your tongue. One of our customers called the depth of flavor extraordinary.

The spirit may go slightly cloudy over time as the Juniper oil starts to show - we think that's a good thing.

2.5KGs of Gladfield Barley went into making each bottle. We also cut the final distillation with carbon neutral Antipodes water - one of the purest waters in the world.

Stewart says this is our Juniper Vodka. I say this is our Juniper only Gin. The smoothness of this Gin is second to none. The fruitiness of Juniper berries dances on your tongue and the hint of pepper leaves you wanting more - drink responsibly though...
I think our Juniper Vodka is best enjoyed straight but would go well with a Chai Latte or add a splash to a good cup of tea also perfectly suited for a cocktails such as a White Lady.

Dessert-wise I'm thinking Juniper Vodka Parfait.
